Spiritually Integrated

Psyche: soul (Latin; noun)

Therapea: healing (Latin; verb)

Psychotherapy inherently involves healing of the soul. We all have ways of seeing the world and making meaning of life. This is spirituality. It may or may not involve an affiliation with organized religion. The word may resonate with a positive experience in you life, of safety or solace; or it may conjure experiences involving profound pain. My approach to spiritually integrated psychotherapy recognizes this dimension of the self and seeks to integrate it into the healing process. Trained in pastoral counseling, my approach incorporates psychological and faith/spiritual concepts into a framework to foster wholeness, healing and growth that is sensitive to a diversity faith of backgrounds. I see people who consider spirituality central to their lives, as well as those who do not. You choose whether and what specific spiritual issues to address. Your struggles, beliefs, and experiences are unique; therefore my therapeutic integration of spiritually is as equally unique.
