Michelle L Engle, LLC

My name is Michelle Engle and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Chester, PA. I believe that mental health is a sacred endeavor extending beyond symptom reduction to meaningful living. I view psychotherapy as an art form, unique to each individual, that provides an experience of being listened to, accepted, heard and validated on the journey toward healing and growth.

 

I work with adults, teens, and couples on issues surrounding coping with life challenges, relationship struggles, mental health disorders, and personality disorders. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in corporate business as an analyst and appreciate the stresses and strains of workplace dynamics. I hold a MS in Pastoral Counseling from Neumann University, a BA in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, and AA in Behavioral Science. I continue my professional development as a psychoanalyst candidate at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. My education also includes spiritual direction training from Neumann University, and a certificate in Ecotherapy from the Earthbody Institute in Berkeley, CA.
